Memorial Gifting

The following types of Memorial Gifting are available:

Waverly Peers Crouch Memory Garden: The brainchild of our alumni

The Waverly Peers Crouch Memorial Garden was established by the alumni of the Home and officially dedicated on May 5th 2007. Purchasing a brick to have installed in the garden is a heartfelt gesture in memorializing those we have lost while simultaneously supporting MAHOVA.

A tax deductible gift of $50.00 will allow the donor to have a brick engraved in memory of any person. Please make the check payable to MAHOVA.

Donors should complete the form on the right-hand side of this page.

WWII Memorial: Speak up for World War II Veterans and simultaneously support MAHOVA

The World War II Veterans Monument located at the circle in front of MAHOVA is erected in memory and in honor of all persons who served during World War II. The monument is surrounded by brick pavers that can be engraved to honor specific Veterans of the donor’s choosing, or to simply state the donor’s name or a Lodge name which wishes to honor the sacrifices made in World War II. This is an excellent way to speak up for World War II Veterans and simultaneously support MAHOVA.

Tax deductible gifts to honor our Veterans and ALSO support MAHOVA can be sent payable to MAHOVA with a memo entry of “World War II Monument”. Tax deductible gifts of $75.00 will allow the donor to have a brick paver engraved in memory OR honor any person, Lodge, etc. Any gifts received without an inscription request will result in the donor’s name being engraved on the paver.

Donors should complete the form on the right-hand side of this page.

Armed Services Veterans Memorial: An excellent way to speak up for Veterans and simultaneously support MAHOVA

The Home’s Memorial recognizes the many Masons and others who have served in the Armed Services of the United States. Pavers have been placed at the Memorial so that gifts to MAHOVA can be recognized by the engraving of a paver at this Memorial. This is an excellent way to speak up for Veterans and simultaneously support MAHOVA.

Tax deductible gifts to honor our Veterans and ALSO support MAHOVA can be sent payable to MAHOVA with a memo entry of “Armed Service Veterans Fund”. A gift of $200 or more, designated to the Armed Service Veterans Fund, or to the World War II project, will allow the donor to have a paver engraved in memory OR honor of any person, Lodge, etc..

Additional recognition is possible with gifts of $1,000 or more. Information is available at the Home’s Development office, by calling toll-free (800) 262-4644, extension 77223.

Symbol of Light: A resident-built monument to our supporters

The Symbol of Light, handcrafted by residents of MAHOVA, hangs in the Gallery as a testament to the generosity of the Home’s family of donors. The color of the plate identifies a distinct level of giving. The Rays, or brass plates, on the Square and Compasses are reserved for donations of $2,500, while the Beams or blue plates, are for donations of $5,000. Each plate will be engraved to the donor’s liking, the form for which is located on the right-hand side of this page. Interested donors may call (800) 262-4644, extension 77223 for more information.
